My name is Alan and I am the proud Director of Nemo Bookkeeping. I started out on my own as a self-employed Bookkeeper in 2017 and my business is growing well, picking up fantastic members of staff and clients at an impressive rate and becoming a Limited Company in 2019. I initially set Nemo Bookkeeping up to give me the flexibility to spend time with my young daughter Eve and to utilise the skills I have gained throughout my working career to date.
I am a qualified ACCA accountant with a wide range of experience gained in both the private and public sector. I have a strong grasp of the range of operational finance functions, including overseeing payroll, and excellent management accounts preparation skills. My statutory accounting experience was gained at a top 5 accounting firm, and I also possess strong taxation knowledge from a 5 year spell at HM Revenue & Customs.
